Congrats Lori!! It's so nice!! We also have the same style house, except our garage is on the other side!!

P.S. I would kill to have the eliptical transom above our front door! I love that!!

To answer your questions:

The house is in East Northport.....7 minutes away from mom and dad in Commack. (Not far enough away from FIL's LOL)

I love the elliptical window too......my dad was the contractor who put in the window and redid the siding and a bunch of other stuff in the house. We got the house b/c of Dad.

So funny.....always thought my FH and I would buy land and my dad would build me a house. Instead, Dad worked on a house that I ended up buying. Who knew in 1988 when he was doing the siding that 15 years later FH and I would buy it!!!!

So to all of you looking for houses keep your chin up and be positive. Your house comes along when you least expect it.

I want to thank you all for your congratulations and kind words!!!!
