It happened!!! I'M ENGAGED!!!

WEEEHOOO!!! I still don't believe it.

I knew it was coming...we had gone shopping over a month ago, and one day I came home and saw a UPS slip saying it was the final delivery attempt from...David. Our jeweler was David S. Diamonds. So I put two and two together...called the FH (AAAHHH! I'm calling him FH NOW!!), asked him if he ordered anything UPS...he said....ummmm yeaahh ummm I requested some things. So he says he'll go to UPS the next day and pick it up there. The next day, he comes home with a box of shirts he ordered...telling me it was accidentally sent to our apt rather than his office. So I felt stupid assuming the delivery was the ring. Well...I couldn't resist. He left the box for the shirts in the kitchen- and it did not have our address on it! (uh duh!! Why didn't he throw it out?!?!)!! It was his office address! So he totally lied to cover it up! HAHAHA This was last Tuesday or Wednesday.

So today...I come home, and start to make dinner in the kitchen. He walks in with an envelope. He's a huge Steelers fan, but more importantly we are both huge Yankees fans and that's one of the reasons we met. So the whole time I'm thinking he'll propose at the Yanks/Sox game on Saturday. So anyway, I'm making dinner and he walks in with an envelope. I knew he was planning on buying me a Steelers jersey...so he takes it out of the envelope and I am geniunely happy and appreciative. I'm about to try it on when he says, 'But wait, it's a special edition jersey!' He turns it around, and right where the Steelers patch (with the three diamonds) is, he has another patch taped on top of it. I lift up the patch, and the ring is underneath! Talk about a real shock!!! He did it on a random Wednesday, in the most unexpected way!!

Sorry for the long story...but I'm excited as you can imagine!!!
