it hit me.

bleh..with like 3 of my friends getting engaged in the last week, i realized that i was supposed to get married this year... and im not.

i mean im glad im not marrying the toothless ghetto wonder... but still... it hurts a little.

im sorry If its any consolation, just think about how much more wonderful your engagement and wedding will be when you have the peace of mind of knowing its the perfect person

of course it does. Let me tell you though as someone who called off an engagement years ago and who waited 40 years to get engaged to the RIGHT man .... any pain you are feeling now will go away. The man you are supposed to marry will be more than you would have ever hoped for and he will be 1,000 times the man the loser you were engaged to was.

Trust me, it will be worth the wait. I know it sounds corny and cliche, but it's true.

aww, don't let it bother you. I was engaged a few years ago to someone and called it off a few months prior and at the time it was weird, but all things happen for a reason and you'll meet the person you're supposed to be with soon enough and it will be wonderful! Try not to let it bother you

I was in that same position in 2003. And boy i am so happy that I didn't get married then. FH is so amazing and he is the one I am supposed to be with. You WILL find the right one and you will be so happy.

yeah. . it's not getting married that counts, it's staying married. .. I have friends who are divorce already . . and I know that even if you know that it's worth waiting, it *****. . I had to watch all my friend, AND my sister and younger brother and steps get married and it can feel bad. . but it's so worth it when you're with the right one!
