It is officially almost Christmas because

Starbucks has changed to the red cups and blue snowflaky sleeve. I was a little too giddy when I saw the stacks of red cups.

I am freakishly excited.

I noticed this too.

I feel bad about myself now. Lauren, in her fragile state actually walks in Starbucks and I drive through.

Plus- I hate waiting 100 hours behind the people with fancy drinks when all I am getting is a coffee. It's way faster to go in.

that doesn't not convince to walk in. nothing would. I would skip it all together. Or go to DD drive through. Which is out of my way.

I am off the day after Thankksgiving, and DH is not.
Or if he is, he will be studying. Who am I kidding- I am always free on weekend days.

oh but now they have Christmas drinks. You have to be tempted by the Peppermint Mocha and Gingerbread Latte. I was considering getting my Venti tea, and a Short PM and GL. Then I realized I am a sad, sad girl.

Well, when you are as consistently late as I am, it's the only choice. I sleep as lobg as possible so that I leave with exactly enough time to stop at starbucks and get to work to the minute I am supposed to start.
Ileave no window for luxuries.
Though I am sure after baby, I will opt for drive thru as child seat removal is a PITA.
What starbucks do you go to?

Yuck and yuck. Peppermint=
I loathe flavored coffee. I would totally try chai with some flavor, but it's too caffeinated- they can't do decaf or half caf chai.
Actually, I am unsure they can do half caf lattes, though I have never asked.

Really? I am the opposite. I need as much non-coffee flavor to cover up the coffee flavor, whilst still providing the caffeine benefit of awakeness in a delightful warming format.
