It just hit me

I'm prepping our stds and in a discussion w/ reality I found the own side of an intimate wedding. Our hall's max is 130, but instead of having it be crammed we would like to keep it at 100 people. 60 for my side 50 for FH's side. My list is 57, thats just aunts uncles , first cousins & 7 friends , my mom is gonna be so when she finds out she can only invite one (well maybe 2) couples to the wedding:uncertain.

yahi would invite more than what you want...people will say no to you and then you could be short you know?

like i want 200 but i will invite like 250

but i agree w kim...i've heard that you should invite 30% more than the amount you want b/c that's typically how many no's you will get back.

that's so funny, we are in the same boat!! don't worry too much, when my brother got married they invited 30% over and STILL were under their guarantee! they had to pay for a few extra plates and they were nervous they would have too many people. so i'm sure you'll be fine.

Yup, thats what i heard. I would invite about 130 so assure you get close to the 100 you want.

I agree about the 20% average of 'no's' .... lots of girls have a 'B List' that they send out as they get their 'no' responses.

I wouldn't send a STD to anyone who isn't on the 'A List'

I hope your right our absolute max is 130!!! I didn't forsee this issue, ugh!!!!

Right now we're sending stds & almost everyone is immediate family (for my 1/2) all mom / dads brothers & sisters & spouce, plus all 1st cousins over 21 w/ a guest if they are married, engaged or living together Maybe alot of his side won't be able to make it
