I am really ready to just throw drunky mcdrunkdrunk out of the BP and just be done with it.
She has disappeared off the face of the planet since last weekend's antics, so I haven't been able to discuss that with her.
She is bringing a guest to the wedding. A guest for the sake of it, an old college friend. Not a bf, just a random date. Whatever...I'm not meeting my minimum, so it doesn't really matter. This guy is taking the train from Brooklyn in to town morning of, and she's picking him up. He doesn't have a car.
She's going to be in the limo.
So how is he getting to to the church and the reception???
She just doesn't think anything through and is making everything difficult for everyone. I am no, under no uncertain terms, having a random guy in the limo with us, not am I offering my parents or other family members to drive either.
This all just dawned on me and my BM just now (you know, the one that's a wh0re according to her)
So another thing to add to my list of grievances. I wasn't going to invite her with a guest for exactly this reason, and then she mentioned that she was going to bring one anyways. So I just invited her with one to save myself the grief. And I know I can't tell her who she can and cannot bring, because 'and guest' doesn't mean 'and guest I must approve first', but in this case I don't think it would be inappropriate to tell her that unless she thinks of a way for this guy to have travel arrangements, she needs to tell him she doesn't need him to come anymore After what she did this weekend she's lucky SHE'S even being allowed to still attend, let alone now this causing more grief for everyone.

I'm HOPING she does this...but I honestly don't even know if he drives.
And now on FH's side, he just told me his GM is having elective, not medically necessary plastic surgery 3 weeks before the wedding, and his face is going to be all effed up.
I know that sounds really awful of me, but in this case...it's cosmetic. It's not for something god forbid threatening. It's an underbite. You couldn't wait 3 weeks? His jaw is probably going to be wired shut too!
I want to elope.

Couldn't he just take a cab from the train? That doesn't seem like the most difficult trip to make...
Sorry this girl is giving you stress. She sounds like a massively selfish person, and you deserve all the happiness and peace in the world.
So so soon your day will be here and it will be pure wonderful magic and you will be the princess straight from the fairytale and none of this ridiculousness will matter at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will be the beautiful happy bride you deserve to be!

Sandra, I <3 you
The only problem is if he took the train and took a cab from the train, he would still have to take the cab to her house, and then come with her for getting ready/pics/departing my house. The problem is once he's here, how is he going to get to the church a good half hour away, and then from there to the RH a good 40 minutes away. Lots of travel involved with my day unfortunately...and unless he has a car, or even her car, there's no way. She just didn't think it through.

OMG.
FH's GM is going to have his jaw wired shut for 4-6 weeks. After an 11/9 surgery.
Our wedding is 12/5.
I cannot believe this.

That or it'll cost him a pretty penny in cab fees. Maybe he's just going to go to the reception?
Either way this is NOT YOUR PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I were around so I could pick him AND her up and cart them somewhere else for the day so you won't have to think about any of it. BLAH!!!!

Ok... ok.... someone up there knows you are one of the strongest women out there and you can deal with all this... it's ok. He can have his jaw wired shut. It's fine. It's like when they've got a big zit on their forehead the day of the wedding... the show goes on. By then maybe he'll be able to still enjoy some soup and other liquids... it'll be fine. FH has other GM to make speeches or your girls can pick up the slack. It's all good!!!!!!!!!!
I'm totally your cheerleader chica! NO WORRIES!!!!

Ali - I totally agree with Sandra - the car issue NOT YOUR PROBLEM. It's not the bride's responsibility to make sure everyone has transportation. As long as your boozey BM knows where she has to be and at what time, the rest is up to her. Don't give it a second thought.
As far as GM having his jaw wired shut, you won't really be able to tell from the pictures (it's all on the inside). Try to look at the bright side, he's not going to be able to eat all the amazing food at your reception!!!

Re: It just keeps getting better with this one
Thank you for the support Sandra...I really do feel like it's a big test!
FH is pretty livid right now...he wanted to throw my BM out for what she said to his brother's gf, and now he wants to throw his GM out and just save us both the stress. This is just getting ridiculous.

Sandra put it best... you must be a very strong woman!!
Your BM will HAVE to give him the car...I can't imagine how else she would expect him to get to and from!!
The jaw wired shut is awful BUT it won't ruin your wedding at all! He can still wear his tux and stand there with a closed mouth smile right? Plus this is the end of his 4-6 week so who knows...maybe it won't actually extend to your wedding day! Positive thoughts!!

Re: It just keeps getting better with this one
Personally, I wouldn't worry about the date.
Our Best Man had a GF who we invited of course and she lives in Queens but has no car. He asked if she could ride with us in the limo and we said no because there was no room.
It is what it is. I wouldn't make it my problem if I were you. I mean, the only think you could suggest is pairing this person up with another friend so that he has a ride.

how is it your problem how HE gets to the reception? Don't worry yourself over this - if he wants to get there, it's not like Long Island is a desert without any public transportation?

Ok I am going to say what I hope your thinking but just don't think it is right to say. Kick em both out. Kick her loser butt to the curb, you don't need the stress or the drama. Them tell FH his buddy is out b/c you have to make it even, and it will prob be too much for his friend. This way they are both out and you don't have to deal with the crap. That is just insane, and you shouldn't have to deal with that crap. Tell FH we said so. Good luck sweetie.
Ok more rational tell her just FYI there is no room in the limo for your date. That way she knows he can't go in the limo, and it is not your problem. Let her deal with that. And if you must have him the GM in the bridal party only if nothing is visible, you don't have to be ok with having anything metal on his face in your photos. *****************. The ******** out y....o....u...r d....a....y y....o...u...r w...a....y

hey if his jaw is wired shut you shouldn't have to pay for his plate!! its not like he is eating!!!
sorry.. didn't mean to make a joke, i just couldn't resist...this is just so effin ridiculous!!! I feel you pain.. and hopefully he will too!!!
as far as theother winner.... law down the law now...tell her he will NOT be on the bus and if she MUST have him as a guest she needs to figure it out and not bother you about it again.

haha. well.. honestly he will be the one in pain and the one who can't eat or drink anything. so the way i see it is he loses, not you.
The BM date... just let it be. When she gives you the run down of the day just politely mention to her that there isn't any room in the limo and he has to meet you there. You can look for any opening to say something about it to her... just any mention of his name. then it comes up more casual. I dont know the story of the drunkenness. I haven't been on here too much. With 2 weeks to go, it's really getting hectic. Trust me... as it gets closer you will have more things to worry over. This isn't worth your stress. If GM wants to wire his jaw shut and not eat or drink and suffer then that's his choice. Nothing you can do about it. Just let it be. Same goes for this girl. You invited her with a guest... she is bringing a guest... you can't change that. Just let it be. Roll right off your back girl.

This is unbelievable!! So sorry to hear so much going wrong for you.
As far as the bad BM.......You forget about her date- its her problem. You have your own FH and his surgery to contend with. I would tell her 'no' he cant come in limo and that's that.
Really sorry to hear about FH.

It's actually FH's GM, not FH himself...if FH decided to schedule elective cosmetic surgery 3 weeks before the wedding, I would break his jaw myself.
