it might be raining now, but it POURED TODAY!!!!

My shower was today and I could not have had a more perfectly amazing day. It was supposed to be a surprise, but by no ones fault involved (long story) I found out about it a few weeks ago. So i wasnt really sure how I was going to feel or react knowing that I knew about it. Let me just say, I was so blown away, and completely overwhelmed. My bridesmaids, and MOH specifically, really outdid themselves and hosted such an incredibly beautiful shower at Louie's in Port Washington. I felt so special and so loved and everything they did for me really meant the world to me and touched my heart (totally tearing up again, as i've been doing all night since i got home). I cant possibly express enough thanks but I just hope they all know how appreciative I am of all they put into making my day SO special!!!!!!!

As for Louie's, the food was great, the service was amazing (although our server Jay needs to make sure he knows his alphabet before practicing corny jokes in public ) - but honestly, it was just him serving us and he was GREAT. I got so many amazing and meaningful gifts, I cant wait to use them all and think of all the people they came from.

It was just such a perfect day, one of the best in my life so far, and really made me that much more excited for the wedding.
