Sorry for the suspense ladies!!! Here is a pic from the first time I tried it on. It's the first thing in my life that when I tried it on I was completely comfortable in - never comfortable with my body.I wanted something simple but elegant and not traditional and I think this is it! I can't stop thinking about it

Just curious... is it true David's Bridal does NOT do alterations? And if that is true, where do you go for them?

they do alterations but no one recommands them for alterations.

My sister and FSIL used David's for alterations and did not have any problems with them. I didn't get my dress there so I don't know personally. My sister went to one in westchester and FSIL went to the one in the source mall.

Thank you ladies. I've gotten some mixed reviews. One co-worker told me it was too plain and didn't look like a wedding dress. And my mom's neighbor called her back after looking at it online and said 'tell Jenn she can't get married in that dress. It's a dress you wear to bed with your husband not one you get married in!'. I have to say that one made me laugh which made me know that i'm okay in my decision!! People are strange!

I've gotten alterations at David's Bridal done more than once and I never had a problem. I know some people have and some haven't. If you need a lot of work on the dress, then take it somewhere else otherwise for smaller alterations I think they're fine.
