You have a popular month... my brother booked everything within the last 3 months of his wedding INCLUDING the hall! he got the best prices on all of his vendors because they just wanted to fill the date.

COmbination of LI and June BUT there are soo many great vendors on LI---don't worry you'll be able to find a great avaiable one....Our engagement for our July wedding was only 11 months--the only vendor I didn't get that I initally wanted was Oksana but I used Melinda (another vendor on this site) and she was AMAZING!

its definitely the month of June...I am getting married a week before you and I started the planning in February as well but as soon as found the vendors I loved and the prices that worked for me..I booked them...But let me tell you I worked alot of overtime so I could put those deposits down...I got most of the bug stuff done..i still need to the florist and limos..i think that is the majority of the big stuff...
and yes LI does such grand weddings....its crazy!!!

We planned our wedding only 9 1/2 months in advance. We were able to get all the vendors we wanted. But I am getting married in October which I dont think is as popular as a June date. You might find it hard because June is peak wedding season.
Us too...
I think June is sooo peak and that's why you are having a problem.

I got engaged over a year ago and my wedding is next April and I booked almost all of my vendors becaise I was told that alot of people book 1 to 2 years in advance!

but don't worry, you can still find great vendors who are still available!

I planned my wedding for almost 11 months after we got engaged. The problem is June is very popular for weddings. And with it being popular the hall prices are higher and I'm sure everything is. If your heart isn't set on a date consider changing it. Maybe August.

June is hard. Just because some vendors are booked doesn't mean you have to compromise. You will find someone. Don't give up and book your major vendors. (DJ or band, photog, video, etc.)
