It Poured!!
This past weekend I had the FIRST of my TWO bridal showers... yes, apparently I get to have 2!! My family and friends are from NY and FH's family and friends are from CT, so the mom's decided to have 2 separate showers to help make it easier on everyone.
On Saturday my mom and sister threw me the NY shower and did an AMAZING job! Everything was beautifully done, the ladies all had a lot of fun and there was such attention to detail! It was a surprise and my mom went above and beyond when scheming her plan to shock me. She planned a fake trip to Florida with my aunt and the morning of my shower had me actually drop them off at the airport!!! Then my dad arrived 5 minutes later to pick them up and drive them back to my aunts to prepare for the shower! She had a fake ticket printed out and everything!!
I had a few feelings that this might be my shower, but kept getting thrown off... especially when I saw them actually walking into the airport! They are so crazy, I love it!!! FH and I got some amazing presents and are so thankful for all of my friends and family who are making this such a special time for us. We feel very lucky!
