my mom, grandma, and BMs threw me a total SURPRISE of a bridal shower yesterday at the milk & sugar cafe (the victorian room) in bay shore. i was so shocked - i thought i was going to an engagement part for one of my MOHs!!
my mom outdid herself with all of the details - from the leopard table runners, to the favors, to the banners - everything was perfect! she even had custom wine glasses made for each of the BMs and me with replicas of our dresses on them ... also a platter that everyone signed, as well. each girl has a different dress, so this was so awesome!
i was amazed by the generosity of everyone who came, and who traveled so far to be with me (from new mexico, boston, virginia, florida!).
unfortunately i didn't get to wear my anthro dress, because my mom couldn't figure out how to get it to the place without raising suspicion. i guess it will be worn to the rehearsal dinner!

haha i know! i'm glad i was ... my mom is big into surprises so it's nice that she actually pulled one off!
