It poured at work today

my fabulous deparment threw me a work shower today. Lunch from Moe's and a beautiful heart shaped blue cake made by my friend Barbara. And the person who was in charge of getting the gift card knew we'd rather have cash, so I got an evelope full of cash!! Whoo hoo what a day!

Sorry, no one had a camera :(

I hope I get a work shower. They do showers for everyone else so I hopeI get one. I might have a combined one since the girl in Marketing is getting married a month after me.

I made sure to tell my bff at work no combined shower, one of my coworkers was married this sunday, so i know they toyed with the idea of a joint shower...i have been there three years so i have thrown so many I really felt I needed my own... im a brat!! lol

I agree! Apprently some people were upset with her because she insisted on giving me the cash, but she and a few other close friends know I didn't need another bbb giftcard
