It POURED for me on Sunday...
I had my shower on Sunday. It was SO great. I was SO surprised ![]()
Everyone there was shocked that I was SO surprised. I seriously had no idea (as you will be able to tell from the pics... I had on my bathing suit and cover-up ![]()
)
So my wonderful FH set me up by saying he was taking me out on the boat and we would go to the beach. I was so excited... b/c we have not been to the beach all summer together. But first he said we had to get gas for the boat. He told me that he was going to go to a new marina b/c their gas was cheaper than where he usually goes. I didn't think anything of it b/c it was only one marina over from where he normally goes. As we are pulling into the marina, I started looking around. Then I saw the Masury Estate in Center Moriches. I new of that place from a party we had went to there. Then I look a little closer and I see people coming outside of the estate watching us pull up. As we started getting closer I started to recognize more and more faces!!! At that point I was just a hysterical mess![]()

The whole theme to my shower was Alice in Wonderland Tea Party. My Mother, sister and whole bridal party did such and awesome job!!! People have been telling us that it was one of the best showers they had ever been to!!!![]()
I can not thank my family and friends enough for all of the wonderful things they did for my FH and I. Everything just meant so much to us. It is so great to see how many people love you and are there to support you! Let me not start bawling again. One more thing my mother did... while planning this party, was made me a bounded cookbook with recipes from all of my shower guests! I really have to get a pic of that up here. She had everyone email her a recipe and a picture of themselves in the kitchen! It is GREAT!!!
