it poured this weekend!
saturday was my bridal shower and I have to say it was fantastic...although I am still exhausted! Trying to save money we had it at my aunts house. 41 people came and unfortunately bc of the weather we were all stuck inside the house. but we made the best of it and everyone seemed to enjoy!
I will say its hard to speak to everyone - i had so many diff groups of people that didnt know each other and i wanted to talk to them all. it made me realize i will NOT be going to say hi to every table at the wedding...its just too much
I got wonderful gifts. my two favorite that i thought were unique and want to share with you are:
a basket of kitchen towels for a year (we now have over 20 dish towels but they do come in handy - really cute ones for each holiday & season). also in the basket were kitchen utensils & aprons. a really useful and fun gift imo
the second gift was a takeout menu box. loved it! (pic below)
we did the toilet paper wedding dress, purse power, bingo, the underwear game and i think that was it.
now i have to finish going through gifts
