I've been M.I.A. with some great updates. Last Friday Scott & I attended Donna & Rob's wedding(DLM107)!!!! Donna truly was the calmest, funniest bride, and most naturally beautiful bride I ever met.
The following day, Saturday, was my bridal shower at George Washington Manor. My mother, aunt, and gals did a great job! The location was fantastic, yummy food, and they also kept it under 35 people. I get very panicky and overwhelmed with large crowds so I was very thankful . The following day two out of 5 friends who thought the shower was that day came over with their shower gifts (waiting for pics). Yesterday, I put together our favor bags which include a Adelphi Breast Cancer Program brochure, 2 compact mirrors, and 2 pens. Today FH and I went into the city and ordered his wedding band!
Loving the bedroomware purchased by one of my BM in my favorite color! I was very surprised by the 3 Swarovski luggage tags as you can see . My aunt made me a towel cake that was simply stunning !
Mom and I with my lovely cake. Mom dyed her hair after 3+ years of not being able too (she's a breast cancer survivor). She looked so beautiful and was so happy! She was cracking FH, my gals, and I up with her constant questioning ' Did you notice my hair?' . MOH, FH, and I at the end of the shower. At the end of the afternoon my cheeks hurt from all the laughing! Scott's wedding band which we ordered today! | | | V Mom and I
Love it!!!! Congrats looks like it was a lot of fun. Love those tags. Better get them ready cause its coming soon . Scott's ring is awesome, glad you finally got it.
ETA: That's awesome about your mom's hair. She looked stunningly beautiful. She rocks !!!

LOVE the pictures! I thought the towel cake was the actual cake...looked yummy enough to eat!
I had no idea that your mom had breast cancer....she looks fantastic, I would have never known. Hope she is ok

Ladies thank you for your wonderful responses. My mom is incredibly strong and fiercely independent woman. Her battle with breast cancer not only had her questioning her will to survivor, but also who she was. Needless to say, it was extremely difficult for her to undergo and we as a family felt helpless. My mom has been waiting to dye her hair at either the 5 year post cancer mark or when one of her children got married which ever came 1st. I was so touched when she told me she was going to dye her hair for my shower. I offered to have her go to my girl my treat but it did not fit her timeline. In the end, she said she knew who she wanted to go to and it was something she wanted to do quietly and alone. I understood once she said that. Thank you for both of the compliments Kathleen . I'll def tell her. She will be flattered when she hears it. Mom was excited when she read in the C.C. bulletin about you & Tim. Mom is the head of the outreach program. Recently she read about Francine and she had a moment. All the H.S. gals are growning up.
