It POURED yesterday! and venue grand opening party!
So, FW and I were convinced June 30 was our shower date. and we may have mentioned it out loud.... so then we were 'thrown off' by all these reasons it wasnt the day.
Then, we were invited by 2 BMs to go to get their dresses yesterday. but the dress shop was not able to schedule on sundays, and i knew this and no one would listen to me when i said it!
FW wasnt feeling great, but she was still going to go to lunch with the BMs. i was never planning to go- i was going to spend the day catching up on wedding planning!
Then.... after several texts and calls we were told ! lol ! we ruined the surprise!
The day was great at sonoma grille, great friends and family and food! - they threw an awesome shower! it went along with our 'bird' theme and we got almost everything on our registry!!
I didnt change into my 'outfit' as i was already semi dressed up for the Larkfield event and i didnt want to waste time!
After that, we rushed home to drop the gifts off then off to Larkfield's grand opening. It looks GORGEOUS the rooms are perfect, the layout is great! We checked out the tables and figured out the # max we felt comfortable with.
The only thing i wish is that they had the ceremony space set up like the ceremony instead of the outdoor cocktail.
AHHH 81 days left!
ETA- FSIL made our hotel door hangar/ tags!! great gift!!! (apparently she stalked out my pinterest LOL)
