It poured yesterday! Tea party!
Let me start by saying, pics in album!
I never thought I was going to get married and once told my friends that if I ever have any kind of shower I want a tea party and they totally made it happen!
I knew the date but nothing else and the shower was at Teapot in Bellmore. The girls has custom invites in keeping with the theme and little 'open me' seals on the invite envelopes. The favors were little bottles of white zin with a tag that said 'drink me' on one side and 'Erin's Bridal Shower' on the other. My MOH and MOH made little cookies that said 'eat me' (fun and funny) and had sparking pink Champaign punch to go with the many yummy teas (coconut custard, raspberry etc.) Teapot provided the teas in fun mismatched teapots and cups and brought out three tiered trays with scones, DELICIOUS cookies and pastries, and tea sandwiches of al types (brie and apple etc. on croissants and fun breads) Go there and have tea and lunch, you will not be disappointed. The decor is fun and feminine and pink.
My MOH made an amazing cake (seriously, look in my album!) that was delicious and pretty, it had chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling and then one tier of yellow cake with Kahulah.
My friends and family were so generous with the gifts, I was totally overwhelmed! In addition to a ton of gifts from Macys and BBB we got over $1,000 from our Honeymoon registry.
I was really touched by the effort and attention to detail from my MOH and MOH. They worked so hard and, as cheesy as it sounds, I feel really loved
This made everything feel so real, I had a shower! I'm getting married! Holy crap!!!![]()
