It really is the little things that count - a rsvp that made me break
My friend of over 10 years and i haven't been as tight as we had been for sometime now. I have always said she is a true friend and felt she thought the same way about me. We get together maybe once or twice a year but each time its like we never parted and then my shower came. She rsvp'd no and she never called or emailed me. I was devastated - so i emailed her saying I was so sorry to have missed her but wanted to get together sometime soon. No response - emailed again saying hi - no response.
Deep down I have hurt over this. I felt the world crumble because she was the only female friend I had ever had that I truly loved. Then today I get her RSVP back and she SAID YES!!!! I broke down crying - I have never been so happy.
This means the world to me and I wrote her a email saying that so I PRAY she responds to me.
So cherish the little things like that - it really makes a difference.

it's wrong that she never responded to your emails, but maybe she was embarrassed or felt guilty that she couldn't come to your shower.
