I think that is great. I am paying for the bridesmaids hair. I wanted to give a nice gift which will make everyone feel good about themselves. let's face it, i have been in weddings before and have been given braceletes or charms as gifts .. i wore them the day of the wedding and a few times after and never even looked at them again. I want them to get some use of the gift i give them and every woman wants her hair and makeup done...

If you pay half, aren't you really forcing them to have their make-up done. I would only do it, if I knew they were planning on having their make-up done.

I think it's a great thing. As a BM (many times over) I never wanted to spend $70 on my make-up...but I felt 'obligated'. If I knew that it was only going to cost me $35...I would have been much happier about it! Good gift!

I think it would be appreciated. When I was a BM in my friend's wedding, she paid for half the cost of the hair.
