It took me an hour to get home

from the mall which is literally less then a mile from my house!!!

Traffic was dead stopped...That had to be the worst I have ever driven in..

To anyone on LI not yet on the roads, be SOOO careful. ITs like an ice rink!

That's crazy...the roads are absolutely awful. This was the worst I ahve ever driven in, b/c of the complete lack of visibility.

SUnrise Mall in Massapequa. You couldnt see if you were even in a lane, and it was like a dead stop. It was hard to see the traffic lights, so you had to get real close to see if they were red or green! It was VERY scary. I must have prayed ten times driving home.

these were def the worst conditions I have ever driven in bacause of the visiblility Im so glad I made it home alive.

i left stonybrook college at 2:30pm claened the windows and took the snow which didn't take long But the Drive. ughhhhh i just walked in the door and it normally takes me 10 minutes and tday 1 hour and a half. Brrrrr.. now i am freezing.

My 10 min. ride home too 45 min.! It is so hard to see, the Wantagh Pkwy is all bumpy ice and the ramp from south bound Wantagh onto SS Pkwy East was closed to only 1 lane! SS looked less icy. Side streets are slippery. Thank goodness DH got to leave work just now!

I am so glad all of my liw friends are getting home safe! and to my other liw friends who are still working please drive carefully when you leave tonight!
