To get our passports! Apply early, way in advance ladies. They are saying routine processing takes 10-12 weeks, but it is taking A LOT longer than that. Unless you want to shell out the extra $$$ for expedited rush service I would apply at least four months in advance . . . we applied on March 27th and just received ours on Friday!

just curious if you would know... i sent my passport to be renewed and paid expedited service... is it silly to think that i'll get it in the 3-4 days they say expedited service takes?

If you paid an expediting service, you should have it in the time they told you.
If you expedited it through the post office, it can take 3-4 weeks. I expedited it through the post office and got it in 1 week. This was a few months ago, when the were still have major back ups.

Here is a warning from my experience... I applied for mine in march... they came in last week Remember you need to send your birth certificate out with them, you also need your birth certificate to get your marraige liscence. Also lots and lots of time for this
