It TRULY is a small world!! Please read...

as we are about to move out of our apt and into our first home....I come home from the store today and DH says 'You will never believe who we live next door to'....I ask who. I've seen them before, they've petted my dogs, etc. I figured they were just a nice older couple in an apt looking for a house.

DH says 'Do you remember me and John (one of DH friendS) saying we need to find Jay ____' and I respond, eh, kind of I guess.

He says we live next door to HIS PARENTS!!! DH is from Oakdale, they were from Bohemia and DH grew up with their son and lost touch!!!

Apparently, the whole family lives down here in GA and this friend is married with kids, etc. What a small world!!!

It is amazing sometimes - how things like that happen.

Thats awesome! I was driving with my mom yesterday and saw so many houses for sale in her area. I asked 'Where is everyone going?' and we both replied 'Down south'.
It really is a small world.

I experienced this once. Was standing on the train platform with DH (before we were dating) and I mentioned that a friend of mine had told me that someone we went to high school with was pregnant again. Her brother was standing right next to us on the platform.

i have an even better story. when DH and i were looking for an apt years back i called an agent in re: to a rental. we got to talking and she asked where i went to college. when i told her she said, 'this is a long shot but do you know dr. so and so?' i replied, 'yes, i had him last semester'. she then asked, 'what did you think of him?' to which i lied 'he was nice' (in actuality, i thought he was beyond horrible and should have retired 10 yrs ago). w/ that i asked 'how do you know him?' she says 'he is my father'

Speaking of small worlds...

when I read the info for CJ's Memorial Service, (Doodles; Donna & Chris) I recognized Chris's last name. It turns out we used to work together a few years ago! When I looked up their wedding pics, that's when I knew it was him. So sorry for your loss Chris & Donna.
