It turned out to be a good day...

1) We were able to do our engagement pictures today despite the less than perfect weather this morning.

2) I took a chance and ordered a second dress online (without trying it on). It was delivered today and it looks nice and fits perfectly! (seeing my FH before our ceremony so I wanted something simple to wear beforehand so I can keep the suprise of me coming down the aisle)

3) My 'real' bridal gown came in today too! Can't wait to try it on for the first time.

=)

We took our pics at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo. We wanted pictures of the freedom tower as it was being built and NYC skyline. The sky was a little dark because of the rain but my photographer said that would make the photo's more interesting (hoping he is right).

We were engaged early April, I scheduled them so they would be ready for our save the dates which I plan on sending out in early July for our February wedding (6 months before). But, I guess you can take them whenever if you do not want to use the professional picture on a STD.

I feel like we are having a relatively short engagement (less than a year) so I have been doing things a little faster than usual.
