It was a wedding related weekend!!!

I got a lot of stuff done and FH and I spent a lot of time together (which we really needed). I made an appointment with Rosalie who I am thinking about booking as my DOC, I made an appointment to listen to a bagpiper (vendor on here-- seems great) and I got some calls into string quartets out of the way and I'm awaiting their call backs (minus the 'Please Return the CD' guy LOL).

Then today I organized ALL of my wedding stuff. I put all of my contracts, paperwork, etc into a filing system (A-Z) and then into a filing bin so it is ALL very easy to access. Each important thing (vendors, etc) has it's own folder. I also have a new agenda that's perfect for wedding planning (a spot for each day as well as a phone book so I can record all imporant numbers).

And to top it off FH and I celebrated our 'one year until the wedding'... we made breakfast together, slept in, FH took the day off, went out east, picked apples, went to the game farm, drove around on a beautiful day (Saturday) and then out to dinner. To top it off we spent a relaxing night at home in each other's arms (I'm not going into the rest!!!) But it was EXACTLY what we needed!!!! We are officially less than one year away!!

Anyone else get anything wedding related done this weekend??

Ehh...I did nothing really wedding related but try on bridesmaids dresses with the girls!!

yeah we really did-- i see your quote about being in a wedding lull. i was SO in a lull for a few months until we reached the one year mark and then it made me want to get back into the swing of things again. i'm sure you will get back into the wedding planning mood soon-- it just takes time.
