It was beautiful on sat, but it poured for FH and I
On saturday, FH and I had our shower. It was a Jack n Jill shower. It was soooo much fun. I cannot thank my bridal party and family enough. Since we are getting married 7/7/07 (and like to gamble) They had this whole 'Lucky in Love' casino theme. It was great. They had 3 casino tables (blackjack, craps, roulette), kept the guests entertained all night. IT was at my aunt's house in her backyard. I couldn't of asked for a better shower. Started at 3 p.m. and finally ended around 3 a.m. We had a great time. Got almost everything off our registry and so much more. I can't thank my bridal party enough. I feel bad b/c I know they spent a lot of $$$. I mean it was like a mini wedding. They rented tables, tent, chairs, port-a-potties (if that is how you spell it), Had it catered with waitresses, and the three casino tables along with three dealers. They rented Frozen drink machines, and of course all the money on alcohol, which we have tons of left. We are actually going back over to aunts today to have leftovers and basically continue the shower. I am still so excited. I will have to post pics. They even gave out playing cards as favors. As I sit here and write and think of all the things I can't believe what a great job everyone did for us. It was definitely a great time. I did not want it to end. Just had to share the good news... Now it's time to go back and continue. I'll just make it my shower weekend!! (lol )

What a totally great shower. My FH would love that idea. Sounds like you had a wonderful time and have a terrific bridal party.
