a few italian songs at most. And the food at my hall is very Italian. The CH will have the Italian meats and cheeses, pasta stations, etc. That should make everyone happy.

Same here, but that's it except for the food. My father/daughter dance is italian (Lauretta Mia) and a few Italian songs. Me and my cousin's get down to a few, just like when we were little....it's funny. Some of those songs are fun! I must admit.....anyone with me?

I'm not losing my name. I don't have a middle name (except for my confirmation name) so I'm making my maiden name my middle name, and taking his as my last name. 'White' very Italian isn't it???!!!

A few italian songs to make my father happy. The food is all italian pretty much. There is one particular song that we dance to at every wedding (my father and his 4 daughters).

I'm losing my name and I haven't come to terms with it. Feel like I'll be losing my identity and have to start over again. I wouldn't be able to hyphenate either as it's way to long together. My last name is 12 letters long and his is 7.

We're not going overboard with the Italian traditions...FH and family are everything but Italian...

We'll have some Italian music for my side (accordian music) you know what I'm talking about if your parents were born in Italy...its all coordinated dances...'dinner dance' music...my cousins and I use to have a blast at those dinner dances ....

Of course we'll have the espresso stations as well as some Italian items on the menu...I wanted a mix of things

At the Cermony we presented the flowers to the Blessed Mother and our parents and we had some of the Mass/readings in Italian.

At the Reception we had it at an Italian catering hall with assortiment of Italian food, had some Italian music and we also did the confettis (Jordan Almonds in a odd number) we gave them out (along with the favor) when when the guests said good night to us as they left.

we decided that we are going to do pretty much the same thing....not really going overboard with it.
