Italian Brides

Original post by Gracie821

I'm Italian and Irish and FH is Irish and Ecuadorian, I am very proud all of our cultures, but I have been to plenty of big Italian weddings, I was just wondering what Italian traditions you will be doing during your wedding and reception. I am still trying to decide on what I will be doing. Thanks for sharing!

Fh and I are both 100% Italian. we are having family from Italy come to the wedding, so we have DJ that speaks english and italian. Def will have the traentella- old italian men go nuts for that song!!!! We are having the pig at cocktail hour....and we are doing the jordan almonds.....I think thats it??

My FH's entire family moved here from Italy 40 years ago. We are of course playing Italian music for a part of the reception, and we are doing the Tarantella!! His dad is gonna teach me

I was thinking of having Italian opera/classical music being played during cocktail music (think O Sole Mio) but we'll see.

I'm Irish and British, and totally excited to do it!

We're definitely doing the Jordan Almonds, we may play a little italian music as I'm 100% and FH is 50%, but iI think that's about it.
