Going from italian name to german... i am sort of glad to get rid of all the vowels in my last name though - 6 letters, 4 of them are vowels lol makes for a serious pronunciation problem for some people

Im half Italian and half Puerto Rican... FH is Italian... both of our names are Italian but I like FH's bc it has two capital letters in it

i am Italian. my family is from Sicily.
FH on the other hand is mutt. to make my life easy i say that he is Northern European. he looks 100% Irish, but is not. i have to speak with FMIL to find out what % mix of everything he is. (i want to know for when we have kids) but he has some Irish, Polish, English. if you ask him, he says he is American. he family has been in America so long that they have towns named after them in Ohio.
