We are using Satisfication Guaranteed (DJ). Jack speaks Italian and I think so does a few other of their mcs. Starlight Express and Continental DJ also have Italian speaking mcs. At a recent wedding we went to Opera 3000 played. THey also spke Italian (I believe. I know they definitely palyed Italian songs.) And they were GREAT. If we wanted a band I would have definitely gone with them.

Hi,
We are using Soul Revival (a vendor on here) as our band. We are not Italian, but I saw them play at my cousin's wedding, and half of her wedding party was Italian (because of the groom) and the band played lots of Italian songs. They had some special requests, and they were performed beautifully. The band are all young too - 20's -30's and were a lot of fun. They have a website, www.soulrevivalband.com Good Luck.

I did a band DJ combo, this way you can have both worlds. Some of the Italian American bands can be pretty $$. Not that they're not worth it, it just doesn't always fit into all budgets.
My girfriend had a band (can't remember) and they were good, but she paid something like $9K!

I am using Starlight Express. They have a few MCs that speak both languages. In addition, they mentioned that they have a good amount of Italian music.
Good luck.

I had Jack from Satisfaction Guaranteed play for our engagement party. What a true professional!! Great music, great energy, great MC! He did an amazing job with the photo montages on the plasma TVs, too. If you need an Italian-American DJ then Satisfaction Guaranteed is definitely the way to go. If you are looking for a band, we're using Voices. They are incredible! They have been a pleasure to deal with & I can't wait to have them play at our wedding. After all this planning, I can't wait to party my butt off at my reception

I will be using Voices for my wedding.......I went to a few weddings where they were performing and I was just amazed. They are absolutely the best!!!!!!!
If you are interested here is their number (718)259-6922 you can speak to Giselle she's Angelo's (he's the lead singer of the band and the one who had his songs on the radio) wife and a sweetheart to talk to, I even invited her to our wedding. She will answer any questions you may have......
I happened to be browsing the net and I found this site. I'm so glad that I did, its very helpful for planning your wedding......

Hello baci what is your name?.........i wanted to ask you if you were happy with the way the people at el caribe treated you, because when i called to check if my date was open someone answered and was very rude, I should've gotten the person's name but I was so upset by the way they answered me I just told them to go to hell and hung up. The reason why I'm asking you is because I see you're going to have your reception there. I had my heart set on it and was so disappointed to be treated this way, I had been to so many weddings there and my FH and I would always talk about having our reception there......... sorry to bother you I just thought i would vent a little ....LOL
p.s. i'm new to this site so please help me if I'm in the wrong msg post.

Definitely go with Satisfaction Guaranteed. They are excellent! They recently were the djs for KTU's contest 'get married for free'. You can go to their website at www.sgedj.com! They really are the way to go.
