FH and I are starting to research Italy for a honeymoon. We would like to go for about 10 days and would love some input. We want to make sure we see some beautiful sights but end with some relaxation. Any suggestions?? Would you care to share your trip if you are going? Thanks!!

Venice (3 days is good), Capri & the Blue Grotto (a day trip really) ! Rome & Vatican City (OMG) 4-5 days.

We went to Italy for our honeymoon. It was awesome. We went to Venice, Rome, Positano, and Capri. FM for details.

I went for 13 days and spent three nights in Rome, then 3 in Sorrento (the Amalfi Coast) where we took a day trip to Capri one day and another day trip to Positano, Amalfi & Ravello. Then we took the train up to Florence (4 nights) where we also did a half day trip to Pisa, and a day trip to Sienna and a vineyard in the Chianti region. We ended the trip in Venice for 3 nights...but I only suggest 2 at most in Venice, there's not as much to do there, but it's a relaxing and beautiful way to end the trip.
