reviewing all of the photography reviews and browsing websites. I honestly and truly do NOT fathom making a good decision here lol Please tell me its do-able! I need some encouraging words! I guess it will all come together when I meet with them BUT it just seems overwhelming!

You WILL be fine. It definitely think photography is a tough decision, but once you start going and meeting with people, I promise it gets easier. We eliminated photographers by all sorts of reasons after we started meeting with them, price, attitude, style of pictures. Eventually, you will meet the right one.

it's totally doable! I felt the same way a few weeks ago, and now we've chosen our photographer
is there any way we can help you? any questions we can answer or anything? anybody in particular you are looking at?

I posted some questions recently. Im mostly concerned about price because I want quality photos without spending a fortune.
At first I didnt think I needed two photographers but now I am thinking I do. Is that being too extensive? Or is one enough?
I want traditional and candid photos. My wedding is in December so Im planning on going to the EAB Plaza to take pictures in front of the tree, and taking pictures outside of the elementary school where FI and I met, plus our entire bridal party has been friends since elementary school. We all hung out every morning by the flag pole so its meaningful.

I also had to choose between one and two, and I went with two.
My photographer recommended that if you have about 160+ guests, or 10+ people in your bridal party, that you get the second photographer. I decided to go for it because that way you get a lot of things that you miss - for example, the main photographer can get shots of your first kiss/cake cutting/first dance/etc, while the second gets pictures of your family/friends and their reactions.
also, this way you can basically cut in half the time it takes to do formal posed shots, because you can just divide them between the two photographers.
However, it's definitely more luxury than necessity, so I think it comes down to if you are willing to spend the extra money.
for pricing - personally I found that people who worked on their own out of their house (rather than a large studio that has to pay rent for studio space, etc) were more likely to have both quality and good pricing, at least in my opinion. Not always, mind you, but just in general.
good luck! It's a tough search.

Ok maybe that was dramatic haha but I needed to express that I am struggling over here. I guess you got the point

i think photography is the most difficult to decide, bc other than that, video (and FH, of course ) will be the only tangible thing after your big day- but don't worry, you'll find that vendor that just makes you feel so comfortable and that you're making the right decision!

not dramatic-I know how you feel! I have booked nothing but my hall and when I start to just think about vendors it makes me ill!

Honey, I'm in the same boat as you. We just started looking at photographers and even though we've only looked at 2 it seems so overwhelming! I mean it's not like a DJ.......for the most part, you go in, if the DJ sound good and the price is right, you book.
With a photographer its like what type of pictures, style, number of pics, huge variances in prices, and so on and so on. So we'll be each others moral support!!!

photography was really easy for me. I knew which company I really wanted and was so at ease when we met them. Just read the reviews of your top 3 or so and then meet with them and see how it goes.
