It's a little scary...
How well my boss is taking the fact that I'm leaving.
Wow.
I didn't get to elaborate yesterday, but I was a nervous wreck. I felt worse after I had opened there envelopes and saw how generous they were to me and DH.
When I broke the news, and told them the starting salary, my boss was absolutely thrilled, because he told me he is making this tax season his last one, and that I would have been cut to part time next October anyway (which I think I had heard at one point). He said he figured I'd want to have kids and advance my career now that I'm married and he said he couldn't be more proud of me. (I know, I teared up a little![]()

He said he'll definitely use me this year to do some side work at night and on saturday in January. He also said he'll miss his ranger fan. Ha. lol.
I feel incredibly happy.![]()
I felt bad I had worked this up. But I mean, he does get nutty about things, and with this being so close to tax season I thought it would be inevitable.
They also appreciated I didn't follow the advice of waiting til after my honeymoon to tell them. I thought I should too, but this isn't the kinda of place (i felt) needed 2 weeks only. I didn't feel right as a person and I have always been honest with them about everything.
