I have gotten my eyebrows threaded by 2 different women in the past who were both phenominal... I never understood why some girls complained that it hurt like crazy, left tons of red marks, etc... UNTIL NOW...
So a place around the corner of my house opened up and was charging $5... so i figure wth, lemme give it a whirl.... not a good idea... this lady had me in tears and the area around my eyebrows is burning lol.... I guess i will be heading back to levittown for pooja...

same here....i tried this place in which is really close to where i live....but never again am i going there she tore of a piece of my skin!!!! I didnt want to leave her any tip but darn i felt bad :( So i just continue going to the same place even if its out of my way

Ugh, eyebrow threading is some sort of torture!!! I once tried to get my lip waxed I swear it was the worst pain EVER.

I'm lucky, a girl at works threads and does an awesome job!!! I let her practice on me when she was first learning, and now she does everyone in the ER practically!!! She's great!

yea, this woman was pushing for my to do lip and chin... i said noooo thats okay... i think ill pass for today LOL and i had a bad day and figured a little grooming would cheer me up

I always thought eyebrow waxing was soooo painful and annoying... hmmm it never occurred to me that the palce could make such a difference!

for years i had my eyebrows and lip waxed, and thought that it was so relaxing i would fall asleep( i know I'm a little strange, i also think microdermabrasion is relaxing lol), but I really like threading alot better because the shape looks better. BUT, getting the lip done is like 5 millions bees stinging the sh1t out of yoU!!!

seriously, thats when you know you went to a bad person imo... bc i went a couple of times to a salon in queens... and i walked out of there my 1st time saying... wow, that didnt hurt at all!

the best place was in queens, but i dont remember the name... im sure you prob arent for around there anyways... if in nassau, def go pooja salon in levittown.... its $4, and very good... its at 27 gardiners ave

threading for me is more painful than bikini waxing! But nevertheless, I go back every month for that lip and eyebrow wax.

I agree i get a full bikini wax every month and it's fine but when it comes to my eyebrows i cry like a baby!
