It's been almost a month

I know its been a while since I posted, but I think I am back. With FH gone for a while and me losing my job in late October, I have been so stressed out lately. Does anyone know of anything out there other than retail? I was an executive assistant, but the company went out of business

Also, Kabo0831......Did your FH ever find a new job? I remember when I was last on here, he had been looking. I hope his luck was better than mine has been.

The holidays are going to be worse now that FH is not here and I don;t have a job to keep my mind off of things. Thankfully, the wedding is far enough away that I don't have to stress about it now too.

im so sorry that you are having such a hard time, Did you try looking in to a head hunter. It is a person that founds you a job. That might help. I am looking for a person like that too. My frd is getting me her number and it is free. As soon as i get it ill give it to you too.

As for my fh he just started a job on monday not making enough to save for the wedding so now im looking for a part time job so that i can pay for the wedding. He is also stressed b/c he is 1mth behind on his car loan and when he gets his first check it will be going to car loan and also car ins so i might not even have a christmas. but im staying postive and everything will work out for the better.
where is FH?

I don't know where you are all located (although Kabo, I know you are local so this might help) my bank.. Bank of America in Selden... is looking for part time and full time tellers

Other than retail. Would you consider working as a helper in a school? Im not sure how much they get paid though. What about personal tutoring?

What about The pampered Chef? I worked for them for a while when I couldnt get a teaching job and LOVED it. You set your own hours and your job it basically to bake!! :)

Awww..sorry to hear about this.

How about a temp agency? The last time I temped I got a 4-week assignment while the company was switching computer systems over and had to train the secretarial staff. I ended up staying there for 9 years :)
