our bedroom furniture! I just ordered it on May 31st. They told me it would take 8-12 weeks. I got a call last night that it is in and they have a truck coming to LI on Saturday! :) We ordered from Blacks Furniture in NC. We saw the set at Fortunoffs, but we ordered it from NC. It was 1/2 the price and Fortunoff said 6 weeks! It has not even been a month yet!

Thanks, girls! ;) I can't wait! To finally have drawers for my clothes, we have been living with one tiny dresser! DH sister's childhood dresser.
Now, I have an excuse to buy new clothes to fill the drawers, right??

Thank you! As a side note, I got the post bed not the sleigh bed. I love the sleigh bed but I like the post bed too, and the post bed was more practical re: space.
My husband LOVED the post bed, so I gave in.

Denise - congrats.
You know we did the exact same thing with our dining room furniture. We saw it at Fortunoff’s and then ordered it from a company in North Carolina (Royal Interiors) for a 1/3 of the price. They told us 8-12 weeks as well, so I am hoping we get a all soon too. We ordered ours mid-May.

Honestly, I just think we lucked out. All my girlfriends ordered from NC and it was about 2-3 months. Not to disappoint you.
I don't know why it was so fast, but I am not complaining! :)

Denise - our dining room furniture is manufactured by Canadel, and they are located in Canada..... We just hope to have it by the end of next month..
