It's finally happened to me.........

Someone bought something off of our registry!!! Honestly…..I really wasn't trying to peek lol……I went on to make some changes and noticed our wok set was purchased!!!! YAY!!!!

I also noticed something weird on BB&B…..apparently things you didn't register for but were purchased for you also show up on your registry?? Underneath the wok set there's 2 bamboo chopstick sets that were purchased, and it clearly shows 'Requested: 0, Purchased: 2'…….at first I was like what the heck is that? I didn't register for that?? I thought FH surprised me and added things to our registry (now that would be nothing short of amazing! ). Someone also purchased a Rachel Ray cookbook that I didn't register for. I just wish these things wouldn't be showing up on there, b/c it would be nice to be surprised I know, I know, so this really means no more peeking!!! I'll try to be good from now on....it will be hard though!!

ETA- ok, so I know I'm not supposed to be looking, but I went on again tonight.....and someone bought my SILVERWARE!!!! I am so freakin excited!!!

I know!!! Especially since I have 2 BM's on LIW!!

I was peeking last week and noticed something funny --we regisetered for a Krups combination coffee/espresso machine that we really wanted. And for that reason I put it on our Fortunoff's and Crate & Barrel registry.....well it disappeared from out C&B registry and it wasn't on out Fortunoff's one either. Mind you I didn't remove them and FH doesn't know the passwords to edit them. So I called Fortunoff''s to see how it got removed....the lady told me it was noted that it was bought elsewhere and was removed completely from my registry.

So bad that I know.....but so excited we got it!!

OMG!!!!! I'VE BEEN CAUGHT REDHANDED!! shhhhhh don't tell anyone ya know I'd be peeking until I saw something was purchased lol!!

btw--if you find things on your registry that you didn't ask for...its cause when someone was buying something---they probably gave your registry up and either

a)they bought something that wasn't on there and wanted to make sure its registered on it, in case you want to return it later.

or

b)they bought somethign for you on your registry, made sure to give the cashier your registry, and bought some other items too, and BBB will automtically register it on yours too.

It's soooo difficult not to peek!!!! I look all the time and my mom always yells at me when I tell her what was bought

Yeah, I'm TRYING to be good... I have four HUUUGE boxes from Bed Bath and Beyond sitting piled up in my bedroom (gifts from my aunt and cousin in California) and I'm soooo curious as to what they are, but I just want to be surprised
