Its finally here...I bought my 'koumbara' her gift.. PICS

For those of you that dont know:
The Crowning
The crowning of the couple with the stefana (two flowered crowns attached by white ribbon) signifies glory and honor that God crowns them with. The ribbon symbolizes the unity of the couple. The Koumbaro or Koumbara also plays a part by interchanging the crowns on the couples heads.

so since these people have such a big roll in our wedding we must buy then a gift of higher value. So i spend a pretty penny on this but its so worth it. I know she will love it!!

I had it cusotm made and sent from Greece since personally i preffer the jewlery from there.. it is white gold and diamonds.. tell me what you think

Now Im on the search to find her husband 'the Koumbaro' a Tag watch or a nice Baume & Mercier watch

what a great greek tradition!!!!

we have something similiar in the filipino tradition. we have a rope that is in the shape of a figure 8 and it symbolizes unity...
