Not a nice distraction at all. I'm going with what Celia said...at least I have Pearl Jam this weekend. TV has been turned off; turntable is on. Landlady is half deaf, and I still have some stale wine left. And one chocolate covered cherry. Life is good.

I'm going to have that stuck in my head now when I go to sleep!!! The worst thing is, I try to whistle along, but I don't know how to whistle. It's terrible.

the other day when it was the python-a-thon, i was up so late i woke up late and didnt go to work the next day! LOL... i think its because i tortured you with spam spam spam and eggs! lol
I taped a bunch of it on my DVR and my cousin from Cali was staying at my apartment when I was in FL. Left her a note with instructions for the kitty and told her about the Python-athon on the DVR. I get three calls in a row from her, which I ignore, and then two texts marked 'urgent', both of which read: 'HOW DO YOU TURN ON THE FEKKING TELEVISION?!?!?!?!?!?!?!' all within ten minutes of her arriving at my apartment. (I was already gone.) Yeah. She doesn't have cable.

OMG KRIS....I am SOOOOO there with you!!! My FB status the other day was about how I'm rooting for the earth beneath the stadium to open up in a fiery lava pit and swallow both teams whole, causing them to experience slow and painful deaths....
...also, I got a pedro t-shirt jersey we can burn together if you think it'll make us feel better

Mets fan here. It's torturous. I hate the Phillies and the only thing I hate more than the Yankees are the Yankee FANS. Sure, Philly fans can be annoying, but I don't have to listen to them and read their FB statuses!!! lol

Do you know when I woke up this morning and i heard the Skankees lost it made me feel good. Even though it was the Phillies that beat them. i was still happy.
You what else gets me- the people who jump on the bandwagon and never watched a yankee game all season- all of the sudden they are the biggest yankee fans. That drive me nuts.

FH & I are Mets, Jets, & Islanders fans.
we are extremely happy with the Islanders after last nights game. two of our friends where there & they said they where the only two people in their section who didn't get thrown out for fighting.
we don't watch baseball unless we go to a game. sorry but its like watching paint dry. FH missed two touchdowns because someone changed the channel once.

i can't stand those bandwagon people. like my parents. they don't watch a single sporting event all year. all of a sudden the Yankees are playing & its like oh did you see the baseball game? drives me nuts
