that FH and I feel the need to not only put 'Adults on Reception' on the invite card, but also personalize the response cards so that no one tries to add extra guests to the mix.
Not only that, but there are a few that will STILL try to bring their kids even when they know they are clearly not invited!
Family drama. Ugh!
Keep in mind that our guest list is currently over 160 without ANY kids and our minimum is only 100. We wanted 100.

It is a good plan but unfortunately some people do not care and cross off and/or add names
People have no class sometimes

I think it's like $0.25 per card where I'm getting them.
It would just say:
Mr and Mrs So and So 2 seats have been reserved for you at our wedding and reception.
Yes, ___ of us will be attending. ____ We are unable to attend.

That is a great idea, my sister did the same thing to avoid extra guests and kids. I have to break my no children except fg and rb rule because my FH wants his stupid brother to go. And the only way his brother's girlfriend who will not allow him to go without her and her kids. I hate her....she's such a witch.

we are doing the same thing. i kind of feel bad for my guests that do 'get it', cause i feel like they are going to be like 'why did she need to tell me how many seats she reserved' ... but FBIL & his wife did this also, they wrote in 5 on one, and get this ... they got it back crossed with a big ol' 13 in the spot! talk about nerve!

Annoying. I think personalizing your RSVP cards is the best way to go as well. It's more work but at least you get your point across
