It's late and I'm burned out, I need some help!!

I'm trying to book my HM to Hawaii and the itinerary says...depart July 12 @ 7:00 AM (Connects to San Fransisco at 10:36) and then from San Fransisco to Maui from 1:00-3:16PM

Therefore, I'd be traveling from NY to Maui a total of 8 hrs...What am I missing here? I know there's a time difference, but how come the itinerary isn't reflecting that? Would I be landing 3:16PM NY Time? Is it an 8 hr flight??

From what you wrote I think you are landing on SF time...I pretty sure the flight is about 5 or so hours to CA so add the 3 hours and it's a total of 5-6 hours to CA..then another 2 hours to HI

I think the flight - if direct from NY - is 12 hours, so those are probably the local times you're looking at.

I think you're landing HI time 3:16, which is just past 9:00 NYC time.

(This should be the case, because a flight from NYC to San Fran is about 6 hours, which means if you leave here at 7:00, you land there at about 1:00 NYC time - which, with the time difference, is really about 10:00 a.m. S.F. time)
