It's my birthday and we put my cat to sleep

Girls, I've been missing all day and it has been such a horrible day.

Today 11.4 is my birthday. Last night my baby (8 year old cat) was breathing heavily and just not acting herself. This morning I decided to take her to the vet just in case, I was heading to LI for the rest of the week to take care of wedding stuff. Today my mom and I dropped off all our stuff to the Riviera.

We were SHOCKED to find out she had a huge tumor on her mammary gland and so much fluid in and around her lungs that the X-Rays could not show her heart or lungs. The vet said there was nothing we could do to cure her. We had to put her down.

I am so upset. I can't believe it. First rain on my wedding, then my period is set to come the day we land on the honeymoon and now my cat is dead.

Other than being named 'Bride of the Week' it has been a horrible week.

Oh man. This is so sad. Im so sorry for your loss. I went through putting a pet to sleep and it was devastating. I feel so bad you had to do this on your birthday of all days too. Not that any other day would have made it easier.

I'm so sorry about your cat. I had to put my dog to sleep about a year and 1/2 ago. It was soooo sad.. I cried and cried. Pets really are part of your family.

It's just so random. we had no idea. i'm telling you, i feel cursed between the rain, the period and now my cat. what else can go wrong

It rained alllll day on my wedding day, but it gave a whole new vibe to the day, in a good way.

awww i'm so sorry about your kitty i know exactly how you feel, my cat gemini (12 yrs old) just died on halloween, he must've gotten into a fight and my mom found him in the backyard, suprisingly enough, with no injuries except for a mangled nose.

i totally know how you're feeling, but just focus on the wedding and how wonderful it will be!!!!!!
