It's my birthday in 3 days, but for some reason...
I just can't get excited about it. We celebrated early this past weekend with FILs since FMIL and my birthday are a few days apart and we were in NY for WOTY. But for the actual birthday, I just don't really care. Has anyone had this? I was thinking FH and I would go to brunch in DC, then look for invitations, and maybe a movie at night. How boring! I usually go out with friends and FH to dinner in the city and drinks, but this year I'm not feeling it. Wierd.

That's normal, I kind of felt that way too. I think it's bc the wedding is getting so close and you've been so pre-occupied and excited about it that you're not really thinking about your bday. Plus we're growing up and it's just not as big of a thrill as it used to be.

my birthday is the 6th of feb.... I am not excited about it this year.... haven't figured out why yet.. last birthday before being married.. my single friends are dying to get me out....

I am never excited about my birthday....I have friends that LOVE their birthday and love to go out and make it a big deal, I on teh other hand have ALWAYS wanted it o to be low key....This year, I even requested that we not go out to dinner but do take out isntead.... I don't knwo why I am like this but always have been....

I usually get so excited, that's why I find it wierd that I'm not this year.

nah, my birthday was a couple of weeks ago and it was no big deal. FH went out for some drinks and then to dinner.

I've never thought that birthdays were such a big deal. My birthday is next week. I'm not exactly psyched for it. I would just like a cake!

I know I thought about that- My birthday is only 21 days before the wedding so I know my mind will be somewhere else and I wont care about the birthday part.

I felt that way last year. It's weird, I am a BIG birthday kinda gal. I count it down like I count down my wedding! I think it might of had to do wqith few things #1 I always wind up disappointed on my b-day. I hype it up to be such a big deal, and when it's not that great i'm super bummed.
#2 I know this is babyish, but I knew the gifts weren't going to be that great this year (wedding savings)
#3 I am not at the point in my life that I would like to be at 25
