It's my engagement anniversary....and FH is in Vegas! *added my little ironic story

One year ago today FH proposed on the Nautical Mile!!! it's so surreal that I've been engaged a year......after dating for almost 7 years I had no idea this engagement thing would go sooooooo fast!!

Unfortunately FH left for Vegas like 7:00 this morning for his bachelor party.....so I won't even see him today!! He'll be back next Sunday! OH well, maybe I'll spend my engagement anniversary with a bottle of wine and just enjoy having the remote all to myself! that's probably the best perk of FH not being home!

ETA- soooooo my FH is an electrician.....and of all ironic things to happen tonight while he's away......I had put on 2 A/C's in the house....and I blew a fuse!!!!!!!!! so I'm sitting there in the darkness, hot, sweaty, and cranky ......I left FH a VM on his cell to ask him which breaker to flip (he has a bunch of crazy things going on in that panel!!).....that was like 3 HOURS AGO and he hasn't even called me back!!! for all he knows I could be sitting here still w/ no lights, air, nothing. I called his dad over and he flipped the breaker back over for me.....but I am soooooo telling FH (when he finally calls back) that I sat here and sweated my *** off waiting for his call!!

Sorry, I just saw this now... Yes, Mike watches Platinum Weddings, but he does not enjoy it as much as he does Bridezilla!! That's his fave! So glad that FFIL saved the day!!

yea Mike JUST called me a half hour ago, and he goes 'did you ever figure out how to get the electric on???' and I'm like, gee I'm sure you were up all night worried he said he actually fell asleep by like 8PM (5PM Vegas time)....and then he woke up at 2:30AM (5:30AM here....his usual time to wake up).....too funny!!
