FH signed a contract today to be a High School Band Director. He's excited for his new marching band and jazz band and we're super relieved that with exactly one month until the wedding he's once again employed!!!
For those who weren't following, he was excessed by his district last June when Lawrence school board voted to close his school building and there were SO many music teachers excessed and recently graduated that there was a huge job pool and I'm SO proud of him not only to find something but to get a competitive marching band on top of everything!
EDA: We got a call today from another district offering him another position that he interviewed for beginning in June! One he really wanted and they basically said he could teach elementary or high school music. The day after he signs go figure. To go from unemployed to double offers but it was a nice confidence booster for him.

Thanks ladies! It took such a weight off. Now we can afford to start looking at honeymoons for next summer! Oh yeah, and we can afford to keep living in our house.
