It's not a surprise anymore!!

I had no ideda when my shower was until this week!! It was kept a secret by everyone -- no one had slipped.

UNTIL.....On Monday I get an e-mail from Macy's saying my Waterford China Sugar Bowl was backordered -- mind you I am NOT even registered there!! So I called to see why I got an e-mail, it was my pattern but I thought it was an error but it was bought by one of my friends and she gave them my e-mail address!! Wouldn't you give your own address? First mistake!!

Second mistake -- I got a letter in the mail and it looked like a credit card application or all the letters I've been getting about consolidating my student loans. So I opended it -- it was addressed to me!! Well when I opened it, it was a letter from KITCHEN AID about the bonus that they must have been offering. My mom bought our KITCHEN AID MIXER!! Yay!! But they sent back the form cause she wrote on the form she couldn't get the UPC number until my shower on 5/20!! This Sunday!!

I haven't told ANYONEI know yet -- I should just pretend to be surprised right? The location and the guests attending will still be a surprise

But now that I know it'll be hard to pretend and go with the flow. I'll want to get dressed up!!

FH and I are going to CT to visit my best friend Friday and Saturday I guess that was the plan to get me out of the house too....

I would just pretend like I didn't know and go along...I think that's part of the fun of it.

That is too funny that all that stuff got sent to you. Sometimes people just don't know any better.

And about that kitchen aid mixer- whats the bonus?!?! I got one for my shower but it didnt come with a bonus hehe

I keep telling everyone to please make me get dressed for the day of my shower because I do not want to look like a mess. My cousin's was a surprise and she came in unshowered in sweats!

I would hope my FH and family would do the same thing too if I didn't know I stopped into Ann Taylor Loft yesterday and got some cute bermuda shorts and some shirts. I figure I'll wear that on Sunday -- it'll look cute but not too suspicous that I knew

That stinks! But I would pretend to be surprised anyway, seems like the moms and BP go thru a lot of trouble to keep these things a surprise! Have fun!

I would pretend. I found out when mine was and I didn't let anyone know. I still got dressed up because my family said we were going out for my Uncle's Birthday. I was still surprised because not knowing who was going to be there and how it was going to be decorate and etc. It was great.
Acted Surprised and have a Great Time!!!!

I'm so excited!! I really thought it was going to be in June sometime -- cause my cousin is graduating from St. Johns and my Aunt & Uncle are coming up from South Carolina then. But I guess that would have been to obvious

Just go with the flow! I remember the day of my surprise baby shower my best friend was in charge of getting me out of the house. I knew something was up when my feet were swollen and killing me at the mall & I requested to go home. She absolutely insisted that we shop for just another hour That gave it away. I tried as hard as possible to be surprised when we got back to my house. I did admit later that I kind of figured it out at the mall though.

ah- that is terrible.........but I would act suprised. They would be so upset knew that you knew about it......even since none of them were the ones to spill the news.........

Maybe you can tell them you knew after it was all over..........

you are 100% corect!! I will kinda be surpised since I don't know who will be there and I have no idea where they are having it
