It's Official!!!....

I am now OFFICIALLY engaged!!! We knew it would happen this month and we know we're getting married next year so we wanted to start the early planning stages. Well now it's official!!! I am absolutely on cloud nine!

Today is the BEST day of my LIFE!!!!

We've been together 3 yrs in Feb and have been living together for over 2 yrs. We were going to get engaged in August but something came up that delayed him getting my ring (he didn't want to finance it at all). So, he told me to expect it sometime in October but truthfully, I thought he meant the END of October. So in the meantime, I've been doing research on venues to have our wedding and the cost was going to be our determining factor on when we have it (we're paying for everything ourselves ) So today, I went to look at a place and called him to let him know I was going to stop at home before I went back out. When I got home, he told me I just HAD to go look at our cat who was sleeping under some covers on our bed. So I go in there, lift up the covers and he had placed the ring box between Percy's paws. I was so caught off guard I just kept asking him what the box was, what was going on, is this real, etc! So after I finally stopped DENYING that it could be happening, he got down on one knee and, with tears in his eyes, asked me to be his wife.

It was the absolute PERFECT proposal for us and I cannot WAIT to be his wife!!!

SO EXCITED!!! I don't even CARE that it's been pouring rain all day!!!
