Currently I am a leave replacement and I have been interviewing with another district for a tenure track position....well I just got back from the board meeting and they approved my hire!!! FINALLY A TENURE TRACK POSITION!!! I can't even believe it!!!
I have been a leave in different districts for 3 years and being a reading teacher the jobs are few and far between!! I am just so happy to have a permanent position! The only draw back is that this new position starts this year so I have to quit but I can't pass this up!!!!

Thats wonderful!! My principal used to work there...he loved it...he was a teacher there and left to get a principal position!

Congrats! YAY! Im a Sub for BOCES and Im goign to for my masters in Special Ed with a concentration in Autism (very rare and selective program...so my school says) If any teacher out there knows of any Elem openings let me know please!! Im currently cert in elem. ed but in dec ill be cert in special ed with ABA training. FM and keep me in mind if anyone hears anything
