I am officially a NYS certified teacher!

I just paid $$$ for my certifications a little while ago. What a lengthy process!
NOW: Where are the jobs!

Update: I have an interview with the substitute coordinator at a school district on Thursday! AND I start orientation Feb 4th for my part time job! FINALLY after 1.5 years of not working!

Yup, it's my 1st student teaching semester (luckily I only have to do 1)

Congrats to those who just got their certification and to those who are beginning student teaching! I have been teaching for 3 years...all full year leave replacements. First two were in one school, this year I am in a new school. It's rough getting a job. But its supposed to open up this year because the state passed a new retirement incentive.
