It's official my mom's on crutches for my wedding!

So I wrote a few days ago about FH and I having a bang up kick you in the face week...

I got a call at the crack of dawn this morning that my mom was in the ER, apparently she fell in the shower and my stepdad took her and she broke her knee behind her knee??? And going into the joint and now there's fluid where it shouldn't be and they're worried about stuff collapsing etc....

They don't know if they're doing surgery or not, they're going to try to hold off but she's definitely going to be in an immobilizer and on crutches for my wedding and she's distraught. Also, my shower is Saturday (as if I didn't know people are now RSVPing to my facebook wall) so I became the errand girl doing everything for Saturday today!

Seriously life, I'm gonna stop complaining before anything else goes wrong!

Thanks! And I'm not worried, more mad at myself. I was on here complaining a few nights ago and I should know that if you have that 'it can't get worse' mentality, it will! I just feel bad cause she's in so much pain

The best part (cause really it was the only good part) for me was when I walked my mom into her doctor's office after the hospital and he said to her 'Denise you can't stay out of trouble for 6 weeks? Six weeks? Christina's getting married and getting all this attention, you must feel left out!' We both started dying laughing! Obviously this is a doctor that knows our family for ages.
