So FMIL and my mom kind of have this strange hate/like relationship...my mom pretends to like her even though I know FMIL gets under her skin. So my mom told FMIL that she was getting our flatware for us for Christmas. I found out that FMIL went and bought it. BUT they cant take it off the registry because the pfaltzgraff store and website are not linked, so you need the password for the website to take stuff off the registry...plus my mom didnt want me to see stuff being bought.
So my mom was pi$$ed that FMIL bought the flatware. So instead of CALLING FMIL on the phone like a NORMAL person..she sends her a TYPED LETTER saying what she bought!!!!
SHE HAS LOST HER MIND!!!

OMG! It's almost like a competition. They are both just so excited for the upcoming wedding, things will simmer down.

I had to reply cause i had a similar situation for my b-day and flatware!!! I had FH approve the flatware i wanted and told him my mom was getting for me for my b-day.. well i gave Fh a list of other things i wanted for my b-day and he mentioned to her that i was excited over this flatware set .. so when FMIL told FH SHE bought me flatware (NOT on the list of things i sent to FH for things I wanted) anyway... she CONSTANTLY rubs in my face how SHE went out and picked out a flatware set SHE liked but had to return it because my mom got theone I wanted!... rubs it in my face ALL THE TIME! And all she could say about my flatware is 'it's ok, the one i had to return was really nice'

OH MY....... THAT IS WHY I SAID NO REGISTRY ITEMS FOR CHRISTMAS.... I WANTED TO HAVE ME THINGS NOT US IS THAT GREEDY I HOPE NOT....BUT AFTER THIS CHRISTMAS WE WILL PROBOBLY GET 'US' THINGS FROM THEN ON.
